About

Melissa Borman is a Minneapolis photographer drawn to idyllic landscapes imbued with symbolic meaning, from which she makes images that relay her own intimate and immersive experiences. Her work has been exhibited throughout the United States and in Ireland.

Her series of photographs, Sea Level, was featured in a three-person exhibition, Mara/Thalassa/Kai: The Sea, at the University of New Orleans St. Claude Gallery in July 2011.
